BMT200-TS Balancing Station
When designing our BMT200-TS balancing station, ergonomics and ease of operation were our highest priorities. The result is a compact solution in which every element is positioned exactly where it should be: from the easy-to-operate pneumatic safety hood and the ideal working height to the ergonomic arrangement of all controls.
The measuring unit (Quick Start Keypad) is positioned perfectly within the operator’s field of view, enabling simple, intuitive, and efficient operation.
The TS software features a user-friendly operating concept with clear displays and intuitive symbols optimized for Windows PCs and Windows tablets equipped with touchscreen functionality (Windows 10 or later). Comprehensive user assistance functions further simplify operation, allowing users to quickly unlock the full performance potential of the BMT200-TS.The balancing software features 7 balancing methods as standard.
The only requirements for startup are a suitable workbench, a power supply, and a compressed air connection. The balancing station can then be commissioned immediately using a straightforward plug-and-play process. Since floor space is a valuable resource in every workshop, we designed the BMT200-TS to be extremely compact. Despite its small footprint, it remains easily accessible and clearly arranged—a balancing station that delivers exceptional precision and outstanding performance in minimal space.
BMT200-TS Balancing Station with #20 Spindle
For Micro Tools < 0.7 kg
Today, high-speed machining is the established method for the economical processing of metals, plastics, and a wide variety of technical ceramics. Thanks to ongoing developments in cutting materials and spindle technology, ever-higher cutting speeds continue to be achieved. However, these performance gains are only worthwhile if both spindles and tools run with maximum precision.
Imbalance remains one of the most significant limiting factors in high-speed machining. It has a direct impact on achievable surface quality and the precision of machined components. In addition, spindle and tool service life can be significantly reduced by imbalance, leading to unwanted costs.
While imbalance in spindles and other drive components is typically eliminated during manufacturing, tool holders and cutting tools often require balancing before their first use in a machining center.
Whether producing medical instruments, fuel injection nozzles, dental implants, semiconductor components, or watchmaking parts, modern manufacturing demands increasingly smaller components produced with ever-greater precision.
With the BMT200-TS20, we offer a balancing solution specifically designed for the dimensions of micro tools and their holders. It enables the required quality standards of the overall manufacturing process to be consistently applied to tools and tool holders as well.
Balancing significantly reduces—or even completely eliminates—the effects of unwanted vibrations, allowing the machining center to achieve maximum performance with minimal wear. Another key factor for achieving high quality and short cycle times is our pneumatic clamping mechanism. It draws the tool into the tool adapter under actual operating conditions, ensuring a highly reproducible tool seating position.
The machine spindle interface is simulated by the #20 spindle adapter, providing realistic balancing conditions. Standard adapters are available for common interfaces such as HSK 20-32, SK30 , and BT30. Other sizes or special adapters, for example for grinding mandrels, can also be manufactured upon customer request.

BMT200-TS Balancing Station with #40 or #100 Spindle
For Tools & Rotors < 10 kg or < 20 kg
Both versions of this balancing station are complete systems for balancing tools and rotors. All that is required is the appropriate clamping adapter for the respective balancing station, allowing balancing operations to begin immediately.
The balancing stations are designed for both single-plane and two-plane balancing, enabling the precise balancing of a wide variety of tool and rotor geometries.
Balancing to an optimal quality grade of up to G 0.1, or detecting an imbalance of less than 0.1 g, can be achieved easily and reliably.
The pneumatic clamping mechanism pulls the tool or rotor into the clamping adapter under actual operating conditions, ensuring a highly reproducible seating position within the adapter.
A wide range of standard adapters are available, including interfaces for HSK 25–125, Polygonal Shank C3–C8 (PSC), SK 30–50, and BT 30–50. Clamping adapters equipped with collets ranging from 6–25 mm and expanding mandrels ranging from 8–80 mm are also available.
