STOCK offers replaceable carbide tip drills that allow users to achieve similar high penetration rates of a solid carbide SuperV-style drill. The SuperV-AP drill system have replaced traditional indexable insert drills in numerous applications by reducing cycle times significantly and improving hole quality (IT9). SuperV-AP drills have a reinforced shank with HE-flat and we recommend using high quality hydraulic chucks with reduction sleeves or suitable side-lock chucks to guarantee the highest stability, concentricity and drilling efficiency. For superior quality and a long service life, our drill bodies are all nickel-plated and feature a high precise and rigid drill tip seat. These drill bodies are offered in 5 different standard lengths, i.e. 1.5xD, 3xD, 5xD, 7xD and 10xD. The 5 different drill-tip geometries made of solid carbide, i.e. type U (steel, universal) / VA (stainless) / GG (cast iron) / AL (aluminium) / NC (spotting), make sure to have the right head on every application. The SuperV-AP drills are our recommendation for machining holes from 11.0 to 40.0 mm. In addition to our standard range we also supply stepped tools as well as alternative coatings as special solutions. Special sizes are available on request.
