PiranhaClamp is a centering vise with a completely new guiding system for extreme clamping power.
There is no prior shaping (pre-stamping) necessary and it is the lowest build in the market. The slim
constructionis crucial, to maximize the workspace for the raw parts. PiranhaClamp also provides
minimal material loss due to the 3mm clamping depth.
So, if you are looking for a self-centering vise without the necessity of a pre-stamping process, with
unbeatable clamping force, without tilting of the jaws even at high clamping pressures, without
distortion on the workpiece as well as wear on the vise, with accurate jaw repeatability of < 0.01mm,
with zero-point mounting, and a solution for chip and coolant evacuation, then the Piranha centering

PiranhaClamp Snapper vises are 100% Swiss-designed and manufactured, have the lowest construct-
ion height, are made of hardened steel and grinded on all sides. The spindle is thermally treated, the
two gliding bars are grinded and coated, and have a operating torque up to 200Nm on just 3mm
clamping depth using 2 rows of serrated teeth for form and force closure with pull down effect. The
open bed design allows chips and coolant to be efficiently evacuated, which improves the part finish.
The zero-point connection allows for rapid part change, resulting in less machine downtime. Different
jaw options for the single and double-stations are also available.
